I started Siteimp nearly five years ago when I decided to turn whole bunch of scripts that I built for performance testing both applications and websites into something of a product. At the time, websites were absolutely huge and performance really hadn’t shown a notable increase since the early 1990s when I first started going online. Accessibility was in many ways worse, having reached something of a peak with Lynx and slowly getting worse ever since.
Over the years, Siteimp has evolved and now I’m a few weeks away from releasing a desktop application. To help users make the most of it and to make the web a significantly faster and more interesting place I have started releasing some website performance resources
